Materials & Process Advantages

PS Raw Material Processing
Polystyrene-Based Foam Board Production

• Uses PS as the main material for lightweight foamed underlayment boards

• Suitable for producing flooring base panels with insulation and cushioning performance

• Designed for stable sheet forming and consistent surface quality

• Supports customized product specifications according to market demand

CO₂ Foaming Technology
High-Ratio CO₂ Physical Foaming

• Uses CO₂ as a physical blowing agent to improve production safety

• Helps reduce reliance on flammable blowing agents

• Supports lower VOC emission and more environmentally friendly production

• Contributes to cost control in blowing-agent consumption

• CO₂ usage can reach around 40% under the company’s process design.

Secondary Foaming Technology
Precision Oven-Based Secondary Expansion

• Tunnel-type heating oven promotes controlled secondary expansion

• Multi-zone temperature control helps stabilize board thickness and density

• Uniform hot-air circulation reduces deformation, shrinkage and uneven foaming

• Finished boards gain better dimensional stability, compressive performance and toughness.

• Available finish: Hard anodized, chromate conversion

FAQ

  • Q: What is the maximum output of your production line?
    A:
The maximum output can reach 3,000 kg/h. Actual output may vary based on specific configuration and process requirements.
  • Q: Which blowing agents are supported?
    A:
We support a wide range of blowing agents, including CO₂, ethanol, butane, DME, HFC, LPG, HFO, pentane, freon, etc. For the Russian market, we also provide solutions compatible with isobutane blends, with butane mixtures being generally recommended.
  • Q: What is the density range of the products?
    A:
The typical density range is 24–50 kg/m³. Under specific process conditions, ultra-low densities of 21–22 kg/m³ can be achieved.
  • Q: What is the maximum compressive strength?
    A:
The maximum compressive strength exceeds 1,200 kPa, meeting requirements for high-performance structural applications.
  • Q: What is the available thickness range for XPS boards?
    A:
The thickness ranges from 10–200 mm, and custom sizes are available upon request.
  • Q: Which countries do you export to?
    A:
We are a leading XPS equipment manufacturer in China with approximately 60% market share. Our machines have been exported to multiple countries and regions, including Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iran, Poland, Ecuador, Serbia, and more.
  • Q: What is the width range of the XPS foam boards?
    A:
The standard width is 600–1,200 mm. Non-standard widths can also be customized.
  • Q: Can I purchase a single unit of the production line?
    A:
Yes. We offer both turnkey solutions and individual equipment sales, such as main cutters and blowing agent dosing systems.
  • Q: What is the thermal conductivity of XPS boards?
    A:
It typically ranges between 0.024–0.038 W/(m·K). The exact value depends on raw materials, board thickness, and structure.
  • Q: Do you offer lab-scale foam extrusion equipment?
    A:
Currently, we do not provide lab-scale extrusion equipment.
